Shari Rubinstein founded Bejeweled by Shari in 1984 after learning across the jewelry industry, including at Macy's and David Yurman. Her work brings together custom design, manufacturing knowledge, GIA diamond grading, and an instinct for translating personal style into jewelry.

Clients from New York and New Jersey visit by appointment. Many families have worked with Shari for decades, returning for each new milestone.

Diamonds, gemstones, metals, settings, and proportions can feel technical. Shari explains the choices in plain language, then helps each client decide what matters for their particular piece.
She works in natural diamonds first, alongside sapphires, emeralds, and other fine colored stones, set in platinum and 18k gold. Every material is chosen for how the piece will be worn.
The result is not a transaction across a counter. It is a focused collaboration with the same person from the first conversation through the finished jewelry.
